We are all created equal and by all means we are expected to treat others as we want to be treated as well. Humanity consists of different races, colors, shapes and sizes- and we are all equal no matter where we live under the sun. Likewise, we all share this physical space, and our actions do tend to affect each another in various ways. It seems that no matter how hard we work to live life to the fullest, we sometimes encounter evil people that are not happy about the positive energy in others.
As fate would have it, I wound up in the so called the “melting pot” of the world and I have experienced great opportunity and also great cruelty from small people; who, for as much as they want success, it has proven elusive to them for whatever reason so instead of improving themselves they have chosen to push others down to satisfy their need for significance. I am grateful for the contrast that these small people bring, and the big challenges they create for themselves and those around them. Those challenges create opportunities for us to grow wiser, stronger, bigger.
In our day to day life we are sometimes in a euphoric stage of happiness one day and the next day we are in a stage of sorrow. Only the strong can say “I can do this and this is just but a trial to keep me going.” To accept the most challenging experiences we have in life, we have to understand that happiness is a failure turned inside out, which leads to real success and fulfillment. I am tested on a daily basis, but I still find myself standing due to faith and help of all the people that I sometimes forget are my allies. The unpleasant events that we encounter each day are also sent to us as an instrument for us to understand that life is not all about joy; it’s about finding the meaning in sadness as well.
One day, I was shocked with all the things that were happening before by very eyes during a time that I least expected it. I felt paralyzed knowing that the people that I thought I could count on turned their back on me and threw me under the bus for there own selfish intentions. In the long run, I had to get up and salvage what was left in my life and continue to be grateful for my blessings and be strong no matter how painful the wounds. At the end, here I am back standing more powerful than ever before. The painful experiences in our lives are there to test how far we can go to face the hardships and to start over again wiser. These are opportunities to weed out the wicked people in your life and hold on to the ones that you can count on. To know the Judas in life is not easy. It often requires some pain to understand the truth.
Life is a series of challenges, setbacks and failures; that is how we grow. It is our response to those circumstances that will determine whether a failure turns into an opportunity or a defeat. Get up and use all you power of faith with gratitude. Harness the energy of the universe in your favor; learn and share the lessons. We can never be significant until we fully experience bitterness and joy of life. It’s time to wake up and know that our Cinderella story is real. We can all wake up from the nightmare and find meaning from the twisted story we each have as we travel the journey of life. A meaningful struggle indeed.
